Code of conduct

Last updated: 6 August 2026

CEO House works because people trust each other. These rules exist to protect that trust, and they apply to everyone without exception.

1. Confidentiality

What is said in a Circle, a Table or any reserved gathering does not leave the room.

You may use what you learned. You may not attribute it, or repeat another member's specific situation outside the group.

Circles and Tables are not recorded. Conversations with guests are recorded only with everyone's express consent.

2. No prospecting

The network is not a sales channel. Do not use the directory, events or introductions for unsolicited prospecting.

Members do business with each other when both want to, not because one was approached.

A first breach brings a written warning. A second may end the membership, without refund.

3. Introductions

You do not send a cold message to another member. An introduction request requires written context and is accepted by the person themselves or, in some hubs, mediated by the City Chair.

Once accepted, a permanent conversation opens between you. From then on you talk without asking again.

Nobody is obliged to accept, and ignoring needs no justification.

There is a monthly limit on requests. It exists to prevent mass prospecting, not to limit those with real reasons.

4. Presence

Membership requires no attendance. Circles do: a Circle only works if the same people show up, which is why they are by invitation.

If you cannot commit to monthly presence, do not accept a Circle seat. The network, events and introductions remain open to you.

Cancelling at the last minute takes the seat from someone on the waiting list.

5. Respect

Disagree with the argument, never with the person. Discriminatory behaviour, harassment and intimidation are not tolerated, in any format.

Guests are subject to the same rules, and the member who brings them is responsible.

6. Consequences

Breaches are reviewed by the City Chair and, where serious, by CEO House Global.

Measures range from a written warning to suspension and termination without refund.

A termination for breach is communicated in writing, with the reason.

To raise a concern, write to [CONDUCT EMAIL]. Reports are handled discreetly.
