Terms and conditions

These terms govern membership of CEO House and use of the network.

1. Who we are

CEO House is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY], registered at [ADDRESS], company number [NUMBER].

2. What membership is

Membership gives access to a private community of business leaders, the programme of your hub, the member directory, introduction requests and event registration.

Membership is personal and non-transferable. It belongs to the person, not the company, even when the company pays.

CEO House does not advise, broker deals, recruit, raise capital or guarantee any commercial outcome. It creates the context; what follows belongs to the members.

3. Joining and verification

Joining requires email confirmation, payment, and verification of identity and professional standing.

Verification confirms the person is real, belongs to the defined professional universe and accepts the rules. It is not an assessment of merit.

We may decline a registration. Where we do, any amount charged is refunded.

4. Prices, payment and renewal

Current prices are those published on the membership page. The joining fee is charged once, on first membership.

Membership is annual and renews for equal periods. Renewal notice is sent 30 days in advance.

If renewal is unpaid 14 days after the renewal date, access is suspended.

Some events and experiences carry their own cost, always shown before registration.

VAT applies at the legal rate where applicable.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel renewal at any time, effective at the end of the period already paid.

If you join as a consumer, a 14-day right of withdrawal applies under applicable law. [CONFIRM WITH A LAWYER, given the professional nature of membership.]

There is no pro-rata refund of periods already started, outside cases provided by law.

6. Rules of use

The code of conduct forms part of these terms.

Using the network for unsolicited commercial prospecting, extracting or copying the directory, or sharing what is discussed in reserved settings, is prohibited.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate a membership for breach of these terms or the code of conduct, non-payment, or false information given at registration.

Where termination follows a breach, no refund is due.

8. Liability

CEO House is not a party to relationships formed between members and is not answerable for them.

We guarantee no business, funding, clients, employment or investment.

Our liability is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the amount paid for the membership period concerned.

9. Intellectual property

The brand, site, content and materials of CEO House belong to [LEGAL ENTITY] and may not be used without written permission.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. The courts of [JURISDICTION] have exclusive jurisdiction.
